Why now?
We’re officially in the digital age and the accounting world is finally catching up. The UK has started making certain taxes mandatory to not only be filed electronically but digital records to be kept. The first tax to be moved was VAT but now it is effecting more people with the introduction of Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self-Assessment. Even if you’re not caught by the transition to MTD, eventually you will be, so you may as well be well prepared!

Full terms and conditions
Eligibility: This promotion is available only to new clients of Jarvis & Co who have not previously been our clients. Existing clients or those who have left and re-joined are not eligible.
Xero Subscription Must Be New: The free year applies solely to a brand-new Xero organisation/subscription set up by us. We cannot apply the offer to any existing Xero subscription, migrated data from another subscriber, or previously discounted subscriptions.
Commitment Period and Clawback: You must remain a full client of Jarvis & Co for a minimum of three (3) years from the date you join us and the Xero subscription is activated. If you cease to be a client (for any reason) before the end of the three-year period, we will invoice you for the full value of the discount provided. Payment of this invoice will be due within 14 days. This clawback is in addition to any standard termination fees in our engagement letter.
Subscription Ownership and Control: The Xero subscription will be set up and managed by Jarvis & Co as the subscriber (or billing account holder) for the minimum three-year period. We will provide you with appropriate access as an invited user. You acknowledge that, as subscriber, we control billing, access rights, and certain administrative functions in line with Xero's terms. Data within the subscription belongs to your business.
Transfer on Exit: If you leave our firm after the three-year minimum (or earlier, after paying any clawback), we will cooperate in transferring the Xero subscription to you (or your new advisor) as the new subscriber, subject to Xero's standard transfer process and any outstanding fees being cleared. You will then become responsible for ongoing subscription costs at Xero's standard rates.
No Combination with Other Offers: This free year offer cannot be combined with any other Xero promotions, discounts, trials, or partner incentives.
Ongoing Subscription After Free Period: After the initial free year, the Xero subscription will automatically continue on a paid basis (billed to us as subscriber, or transferred if you have left). You will be responsible for the full standard subscription fees from that point, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Termination and Changes: We reserve the right to withdraw or modify this promotion at any time without notice, though it will not affect clients who have already joined and activated the subscription. This offer is subject to our standard engagement terms and Xero's terms of use.
Client Responsibilities: You must provide accurate information for setup, maintain your business details in Xero, and use the software in accordance with Xero's acceptable use policies. We are not responsible for any data loss, errors, or issues arising from your use of Xero outside our agreed services.
Limitation of Liability: The free Xero subscription is provided "as is" with no additional warranties beyond those in Xero's terms. Our liability for the software itself is limited accordingly.
